Rufus 2.9 Build 934 Final

Posted by

Rufus is a small application that allows users to format the USB flash disk and create a bootable drive quickly. This tool provides a choice of standard and advanced options, according to the preferences of all skill levels.
This tool wrapped in a user-friendly interface that resembles the Format panel on the built-in features in Windows. You can select a device, partition scheme and the type of the target system, the type of file system (FAT32, NTFS, UDF, exFAT), cluster size, and volume of the new label.
Basic formatting options allow us to check the device for bad blocks, and select the type of algorithm (from 1 to 4 pass). Plus, we can arrange a quick format mode, making extended label and icon files, and create a bootable disk using the ISO image.
You can easily create a bootable USB stick for every Windows and Linux (or other OS) using the ISO image original!
Rufus 2.9 Build 934 supports UEFI and GPT for media installations, which allows us to install Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 / 8.1, Windows 10 or Linux in full EFI mode. However, due to the limitations of the OS, Windows XP limits the creation of UEFI bootable drive to MBR mode.Advanced tweaks can make a list of Rufus fixed (non-flash) or unpartitioned USB flash disk, add improvements to Old BIOS (e.g. extra partition), and you can use Rufus MBR with BIOS ID is selected.
The program records all activity on a separate pane, and can be saved to the LOG file. Performing the task formats fast and error-free, uses system resources are low.
Test result :We have not encountered any problems during testing, because the utility does not cause Windows to hang or crash. To that end, Rufus is an easy solution to format and create a bootable USB drives, provides users with a host of useful features. There is also a portable edition available. It is unfortunate Rufus not support multiboot.
