SMPlayer is a free media player for Windows and Linux with built-in codecs that can play almost all formats of video and audio. Does not need any external codec. Just install SMPlayer and we will be able to play all formats without the hassle of finding and installing codec packs.

MPlayer has on-screen display (OSD) for status information, nice subtitles and visual feedback for keyboard controls. European / ISO 8859 to 1.2 (Hungarian, English, Czech, etc), Cyrillic and Korean fonts are supported along with 12 subtitle formats (MicroDVD, SubRip, OGM, SubViewer, Sami, VPlayer, RT, SSA, AQTitle, JACOsub, PJS and our own: MPsub). DVD subtitles (SPU streams, VobSub and Closed Captions) are also supported.
For maximum performance the package includes optimized MPlayer binaries for various CPU types. Furthermore the Full-Package includes the Binary Codec Package to enable more audio / video formats. Light-Package is a minimal version of this package, which includes MPUI and MPlayer binaries only.
